1. About this site
This website is operated by PlotVerify, based in Toronto, Canada. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Pre-launch status
PlotVerify is not yet open for business. The service, coverage districts, turnaround times and process described on this site reflect our intended offering and may change before launch. Joining the early access list does not create a contract, reserve a service, or oblige either of us to anything.
3. The sample report
The sample verification report shown on this site is illustrative. It does not describe a real plot, a real transaction or a real client, and it must not be relied on for any purpose.
4. Not legal or professional advice
Information on this site about land tenure, titles, registry procedure or fraud in Uganda is general in nature. It is not legal advice and does not take account of your circumstances. You should take independent legal advice before entering into any land transaction.
5. Verification has limits
When our service launches, verification reports will be based on records available at the time of the check and on what our agents observe on site. Public records in Uganda are not always complete or current. A report describes what we found on a given date. It is not a guarantee of title, a valuation, an insurance product, or a warranty that a transaction is safe. Where something cannot be confirmed, our reports will say so.
6. No relationship with sellers
PlotVerify does not sell land, does not act as an agent or broker, and receives no commission from sellers, agents or developers in connection with any transaction.
7. Our content
The PlotVerify name, logo, text, images and design on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
8. Third-party links
Where this site links to other services, such as WhatsApp, we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website while PlotVerify is in its pre-launch stage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
